Holme Lacy House, Hereford

Holme Lacy is a 18th Century, beautiful building. It features extensive grand staircase and huge drawing rooms. warner made some excellent improvements and restorations when they acquired the property, which you can view when you exploring the 20 acres of landscaped gardens and roaming parklands.

Thoresby Hall Hotel & Spa, Nottinghamshire

Thoresby Hall’s interior is absolutely stunning. The entrance to this historic hotel is beneath the central tower. This immediately takes you via a wide roaming staircase,into the Great Hall. Stately rooms feature throughout the hotels and you are obviously free to make your way through the hotel as ou wish. One of the highlights of Thoresby Hall is the majestic Blue Room. The Blue room is so called as it is decorated with restored silk damask wallpaper.

Bodelwyddan Castle, North Wales

The Bodelwyddan Castle has an extensive portrait collection of 19th-Century paintings courtesy of the National Portrait Gallery. These protraits are largely of the famous and you are sure to recognise some of the fantastic pictures. A walk through the extensive gardens and around the tranquil moat means you can view the incredible Castle from a distance and truly take in how majestic Bodelwyddan is.

Nidd Hall, North Yorkshire

Warner Lesiure Hotels have done wonders to restore and salvage Nidd Hall’s character. One of the most spectatcular hotels in Warner’s Historic Hotel collection, Nidd Hall is a true pleasure to saty in. The wide and sumptous staircases sweep past gorgeous carvings and the beautiful cornices will be appreciated by anyone with a eye or the grand. You can relax in the peacefulness of the old Library, or take long walks through the estate. The estate has actually doubled in size since 1855.

Cricket St. Thomas, Somerset

Cricket St. Thomas is actually listed in the Domesday book. The book states that Cricket St. Thomas has “14 cattle”, but these days its closer to 500! For the Cricket St. Thomas wildlife park is just down the road from the Hotel itself. Cricket St. Thomas is Grad II listed building and this encompasses its parklands, lakes and majestic trees. The Somerset surroundings can be viewed from the aromatic and pedicured gardens. The lawns are carefully and passionately maintained, and a walk through them allows you to truly sample the size of this estate.

Littlecote House, Berkshire

A true Historic Hotel, at Littlecote you can literally feel the history seeping through the Tudor walls here. Down the ages, from Tudor monarchs, to the Civil War captains and Regency nobles, and not forgetting the odd friendly ghost, Littlecote House has hosted some of the historic greats in England. Still you can view this history, with the Roman mosaic, the Great Hall and the Cromwellian chapel. You are free to roam the gardens and the estates of these buildings during your stay at Littlecote so you really can sample some British history.
